Quillana, The Redeeming Goddess
Quillana, The Redeeming Goddess

Quillana is much more than a character in Eclipsed Gods; she is the embodiment of redemption and strength. In this post, I want to take you through the creative process I used to bring this goddess to life, from the first sketch to the final result.
It all started with brainstorming and numerous hand sketches. I drew different styles, exploring how to capture both the mystique and the technology in her figure. These first steps were fundamental in defining his visual identity and setting the path for his evolution.
The next challenge was the choice of colour palette. I wanted each shade to not only reflect his divine essence, but also to fit harmoniously with the Eclipsed Gods universe. In the end I used different characters representing lunar goddesses such as Yue from Avatar as inspiration.
I am very proud of the creative journey that led me to create Quillana. This process not only allowed me to explore new techniques and tools, but also reminded me how enriching it is to transform an idea into a meaningful work of art. I hope you enjoy this behind-the-scenes look and that it inspires you to continue exploring and experimenting in your own projects.
Thanks for joining me on this creative journey - see you next time!
