UI, Art construction

Today I want to share the process I followed to create the start menu of my game. We started (together with my partner Mariana) with some wireframes that helped me to define the structure and navigation of the interface. Then I went on to capture my ideas through sketches, where I explored different concepts and styles for the menu art. These hand drawings formed the visual identity I wanted to convey, and allowed me to experiment without fear of making mistakes.
The most challenging and rewarding stage was the creation of the final artwork. Spending about 10 hours on the whole process allowed me to adjust every detail: from the typography to the colour palette and the visual composition. The result is a menu that not only fulfils its practical function, but also reflects the essence and atmosphere of the game.
I hope this devlog gives you a clear idea of my creative process and inspires you to experiment and share your own. Thank you for joining me on this development journey!
